Today, the Boston Globe exposed MAGA Mike Minogue for concealing his Montana estate worth over $30 million. Minogue’s Montana mansion is the most expensive home on his rapidly growing list of multi-million dollar properties. His out-of-touch lifestyle conflicts with his claim that he “understands the struggle residents face to pay rent or afford a home.”
In previous reporting on GOP candidates’ property holdings by WBUR, Minogue declined to offer any details about the Montana estate, including its $30+ million price tag and his membership in the Yellowstone Club, one of the most exclusive clubs in the world.
The Yellowstone Club has faced a myriad of issues revealed in previous reporting, including discrimination lawsuits from staffand a massive fine for dumping millions of gallons of sewage into the nearby Gallatin River.
While Minogue spends time in his luxurious Montana mansion, Governor Healey is in Massachusetts focused on making housing more affordable by building 100,000 new homes, providing down payment assistance for first-time home buyers, cutting renters fees, and bringing down the cost of housing for everyone.
“Mike Minogue and his Montana mansion are a reflection of how out-of-touch he is with the struggle Massachusetts families are facing,” said Steve Kerrigan, Chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party. “Here in the Bay State, we need a Governor who understands the urgency in order to bring down the cost of housing, healthcare, and energy – not a candidate who is trying to buy the Governor’s office with his vast wealth to bring a cost-raising Trump agenda to Massachusetts. Governor Maura Healey is working to make housing more affordable across the board, from cutting costs for building to supporting first-time homebuyers. The choice in this election is clear.”

Minogue has another connection to the Yellowstone Club — his $22.5 million family foundation has donated at least $25,000 to the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, according to tax filings from 2021 and 2023.
He has drawn political support from club employees, too.
Bill Collins, the director of sales at the Yellowstone Club, donated $1,000 to Minogue in October and another $1,000 in January, according to campaign finance records. Collins declined to comment “across the board” when reached by phone.
The club’s website does not disclose the cost to join and maintain membership, but homes within the premises of the community regularly run more than $10 million, according to a Globe review of property records.
