Democratic State Committee

Our governing body.

The Democratic State Committee is composed of over 400 Democrats from Massachusetts’ 40 senatorial districts, caucus representatives, add-on members, and Party officials. They are instrumental to electing Democrats from the State House to the White House, and help determine the direction of our party. Information about subcommittees can be found here.

Candidates for state committee may pick up nomination papers at SoS offices in Boston, Springfield and Fall River. Papers will also be available at local election offices in: Barnstable, Brockton, Chelmsford, Fitchburg, Framingham, Gardner, Haverhill, Nantucket, Northampton, Peabody, Pittsfield, Tisbury and Worcester.

Next DSC Meeting

The Massachusetts Democratic State Committee’s Spring Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be hybrid. To attend virtually, please email Adam Roof at [email protected] to request a waiver.
