Register to Vote
To register to vote in Somerville you must:
BE A U.S. CITIZEN
be a Somerville resident
and be at least 18 years old on or before the next election.

An acknowledgement notice will be sent confirming that you are registered.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES
August 25, 2004 - 8:00 p.m. Last day and hour to register for the September
14 Primary Election
Election Department open until 8:00 p.m. on deadline dates.
Penalty for Illegal Registration: Fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment
for not more than five years or both.
Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 56 section 8.
In order to participate in any election, primary or preliminary the Deadline
for Voter Registration is at least 20 days before.
