We're Headed For A New Direction!
The results are in!  We're headed for a new direction!  Kids for Democracy want to congratulate our friends across the country for their victories in 2006!  We especially congratulate the next speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi of California!  Rep. Pelosi started in politics when she was a teen, and now she's going to be the first woman ever to be Speaker!  Big congratulations also go to Massachusetts' new Governor-Elect Deval Patrick.  He's been elected the first black Governor for that Commonwealth and only the second-ever African-American elected Governor in our country's history!  Our friends in New Hampshire are celebrating too!  They re-elected KFD friend Governor John Lynch by a huge margin, and two new Democrats to Congress!  Our thanks also to all the Senators we've met -- now Democrats are in charge of the Senate too!  Finally, we kids and young teens want to thank everyone in our Democratic Party for letting us see democracy first-hand.
Wow!  We were part of the Democratic Revolution of 2006!
