Register a Democrat Call to Action On behalf of Chairman John Walsh, we would like to thank every convention delegate and guest who took up the cause of registering at least one voter as a democrat. This initiative is important to the party and we would like to hear from you who you registered. Nearly thirty percent of Americans who are eligible to vote are not even registered. An overwhelmingly large majority of these would-be voters favor the Democratic Party , and thanks to your efforts we are beginning to bring these people into the fold. These potential voters are the people that will bring the Democratic Party victory in 2008, and we thank you for your help in getting them involved in their government. We are the majority political party in America , but there is much work that needs to be done. We need to get more people registered to vote!
