Caucuses to elect delegates to the national convention will be held on Saturday, April 3rd. See the list on the right to locate yours.
At these caucuses, there are no nominations from the floor. There will be a ballot where all in attendance who are registered Democrats in the congressional district can pick the allotted number of delegates for that district. For a nominee to become a delegate, they must receive over 50% of the vote from those in attendance. Subsequent ballots occur until all seats are filled with delegates receiving 50% of the vote.
The official process is created by the DNC and implemented at the caucuses.
