The 2012 Democratic State Convention in Springfield is just weeks away and I’m looking forward to welcoming you to my hometown. We’re hard at work preparing lots of events and activities to give everyone a taste of the great City of Springfield.

After the official events wrap up at the MassMutual Center, the Massachusetts Democratic Party is organizing an unprecedented city-wide door to door canvass for delegates to go out into the neighborhoods of Springfield and talkto voters. Springfield is “The City of Homes” and I’m excited to go out and knock on some doors with you. I hope you’ll sign up to join me.

As you all know, there’s a lot at stake in this election, and it’s crucial that we talk to voters to make sure they get out and vote for Democrats up and down the ticket.
